"KFT-2"light weigfht16,000T project ship successful launching
On July 18th of 2012, the 60,000 dwt KFT - 2 storage-unloading work ship in Dalian Sigang Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Used Changlin airbags to launch safely, thus setting the latest record with a launching weight of 16,000 tons. It was 192 meters i length, 50 meters in width and 15.0 meters i depth, making it a super- wide and overweight work ship. To launch the ship successfully marked a new breakthrough in the field of special engineering ship using airbag launching technology.
